My vision is for Rome City Schools to be a model of student-centered excellence, where literacy is the foundation of learning, budgets are managed with integrity and transparency, and every student is prepared for success in college, career, and life. Through courageous leadership and accountability, I will continue to help build a school system that families can trust and students can thrive in.

Literacy Advancement
Literacy is the foundation of learning, and my vision is for every child in Rome City Schools to read on grade level by third grade. I have championed the Science of Reading, ensuring all K–3 teachers are trained in evidence-based practices. With Amplify ELA, early intervention, and strong classroom resources, literacy growth is not just expected but achieved, opening doors of opportunity for every student’s future.
